Discover passion and engagement in your work by developing your talents.
Are you an ambitious professional who’s READY to create better results, just by being a better "YOU"?

Can't get everything done because half your projects feel "foreign" to you, and take you twice as long as everyone else?

Not being invited to join the cool, new project team?

Did that promotion you wanted just go to someone else?

I've been where you are.

You start a role and it's perfect. Then things change.
Role creep. New technologies. The challenge disappears. The team changes.

At your core, you remain the same. Research has shown that by the time we get to the working world, we are essentially fully-formed -- our weaknesses and our talents integral parts of our being.

By better understanding your talents -- your unique ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving -- you can best engage with, and succeed at, our work.

Want to achieve your goals and have fun doing it?

You're in the right place if...

You've taken so many assessments but still can't figure out how to make any of them actionable so you can be productive and enjoy your work.

Your job description used to fit like a glove. Now it doesn't. Every role evolves but you can't become a new person every time your job description changes.

You aren't getting the kind of support and coaching you need from your team leader.
Few people know how to use their innate talents to best engage with their work.

You can be the exception.
Down-to-earth conversations backed by research and data.

the Engaged Individual Effect is a coaching experience designed to help you as an individual contributor become (or stay) engaged in your work. It's based on Gallup's decades of research on identifying and using our individual talents -- your innate ways of feeling, thinking, and behaving -- to best achieve your goals. This is a performance-based approach, rather than a personality-based approach.

During this coaching experience, you'll explore, clarify, and develop your talents to:
  • Approach your personal work with ease and enjoyment
  • Develop language to describe your unique offerings to current and future teams
  • Get more done in less time
  • Better understand how your talents interact with your colleagues' talents
  • Identify potential talent partnerships

the EXPERIENCE

the PRE-WORK

Every good coaching experience should start by assessing your current situation. For this experience we'll start with:

ENGAGEMENT ASSESSMENT -- What does your current work situation look and feel like. Who are your champions? What resources can you access? Where are the issues?

CLIFTONSTRENGTHS ASSESSMENT -- Identifying your top 5 Talent themes is a critical step in understanding how you can, should, and best engage with your work.

RED LIGHT / GREEN LIGHT ASSESSMENT -- we'll look at which activities and projects bring you energy and joy, and which ones deplete you.

the COACHING

CLIFTONSTRENGTHS DEBRIEF -- There is a lot to unpack in the CliftonStrengths assessment reports. It helps to have a coach help you unpack it all. We''ll uncover what resonates and how you currently live your talents.

GREEN LIGHT GO -- Together, we'll explore the intersection of your talents with the activities that already bring you energy. Then we'll explore how you can use those activities to further develop your talents into STRENGTHS.

RED LIGHT STOP -- You'll never become more engaged with your work unless you develop approaches that address those activities which deplete you and don't take advantage of your talents.

DEVELOPMENT PLANNING -- In our final two sessions we'll take an in-depth look at the projects, activities, and goals most important to you and develop a detailed plan that makes the most of your talents. In the process, we'll identify paths to develop your talents into Strengths!

the TIMELINE

There is rarely a quick fix when it comes to coaching or engagement. Coaching works best when you give yourself time to integrate and explore everything you uncover during our sessions together.

The Engaged Individual Effect experience is designed as a 10-week coaching engagement. The five (5) coaching sessions are typically scheduled every two weeks, but can be personalized based on your needs and situation.
